Dodici ore di luce corrispondono ad altrettante ore di ombra. Dodici indica anche la luce allo zenit, il momento in cui tutto si allinea e il perpetuo movimento di Terra e Sole si uniscono in un'ombra che da nord a sud ci guida nel tempo e nello spazio.
Il progetto 44'24"N 10'38"E nasce dall'incontro con la città di Reggio Emilia e dall'impellente necessità, sperimentata in questo luogo, di rendere evidente lo scorrere del tempo. La meridiana diventa qui strumento di misura e simbolo visibile dell'incessante incedere del tempo. Nel progetto, realizzato per mezzo di una performance, viene figurato questo "passaggio", tramite il movimento della performer, nelle 12 posizioni principali che assumerebbe, l'ombra di un ipotetico gnomone di una meridiana, posto in corrispondenza della testa della performer. La performance, di cui sono presenti qui solo prove fotografiche, si svolge nell'esatto punto che designa la collocazione geografica di Reggio Emilia nella cartografia, cioè il punto in cui il meridiano e il parallelo passanti per la città si incontrano. Spazio e tempo si intrecciano in questo progetto per cercare di rappresentare l'indescrivibile: "l'incessante scorrere del tempo".

The project 44'24"N 10'38"E was born from the meeting between the city of Reggio Emilia and the compelling necessity I felt there in order to bring to the surface the elapse of Time; here the sundial become an instrument of measure and evident simbol of This unceasible flow. The project, realised by a performance, highlights this "proceeding" by the movement of the performer in the 12 principal positions that the sundial gnomon would assume if it was really there. Its position is figuratively the same of the performer's head. Here we can only see a photographic testimonial but the place were the performance was carried on is the exact point where Reggio Emilia is geolocaly located and so the point where the meridian and the parallel passing by the city cross each other. Space and time intertwines in this project searching a way to depict the indescribable: "the flowing of time".
